A communication team from the National Police Service completed a two-day on-the-job training at the Kenya Broadcasting Corporation on Tuesday. The program was designed to give them practical experience in media communication skills. The team of 17 officers graduated last week from the Kenya Institute of Mass Communication after a five-week training on media-related skills. KBC Managing Director Agnes Kalekye said the experience positions them to build a stronger relationship with the media, foster collaboration between the media and law enforcement officers, as well as improve how police relay information.
