Jacton Mwembe, the Honorary Secretary of IEK: We appeal to the government to improve the engineers’ stipend, which currently stands at around 25,000 shillings, and to include hardship allowances. Enhancing these benefits will significantly improve their livelihoods and motivate more young professionals to remain in the engineering field.
