Governor Sakaja defends the county’s shift to Sidian Bank

Nairobi governor Johnson Sakaja has defended his decision to move hospitals deposits accounts to Sidian Bank, saying it is offering better rates than other banks. Appearing before the Senate's devolution Committee, the Nairobi Governor said the county government was considering moving all its accounts to Sidian Bank. The governor also insists no law was broken in the shift that was informed by administrative and financial considerations.
