Nyamira County Governor Amos Nyaribo has been impeached. 23 of the 31 MCAs who were present during the proceedings voted in favor of the impeachment motion tabled by Bonyamatuta Ward Representative Julius Matwere. Nyaribo is accused of abuse of office and violation of legal procedures among other allegations.
