Religious leaders in Lamu County have urged residents to reject any efforts to divide them along religious, ethnic, or political lines. The clergy warned that such divisions threaten peace, weaken social cohesion and derail development in the community. Speaking during a stakeholder engagement forum that brought together the clerics and opinion leaders, the clergy stressed the need for dialogue and mutual respect to counter rising tensions driven by political activities
