Stakeholders in the Technical and Vocational Education and Training sector in Eldoret have renewed their commitment to strengthening the Dual TVET model, calling for deeper industry involvement to boost youth employability. The push comes as Kenya prepares for the full implementation of the National Dual TVET Policy in 2026. Stakeholders emphasised that industry must remain at the core of the model, citing progress in mentorship, partnerships, and workplace-based learning. They noted that renewed commitments now set the pace for alignment ahead of the 2026 rollout of the National Dual TVET Policy.
