The country’s push towards climate-resilient, technology-driven irrigation is set to receive a major boost following the graduation of a new cohort of water professionals. Water Cabinet Secretary Eric Muga and Irrigation Principal Secretary Ephantus Kimotho, who presided over the 37th Graduation Ceremony of the Kenya Water Institute, said the sector is counting on highly skilled graduates to power the country’s expanding water and irrigation projects.
