Over 2.3 billion shillings have been disbursed by the National Government to 77 constituencies under the Best Practice Demonstrations Programme, which has been running since 2015. According to NGCDF Board Director Gabriel Kago, the funds have boosted ongoing projects in beneficiary constituencies.Speaking in Gathangari Primary school in Githunguri Constituency, Kago expressed confidence that the NGCDF kitty will be enshrined in the Constitution as residents urged stakeholders to release pending funds to support learners joining Grade 10 in 2026.
