The global housing crisis amplified by climate change, conflict and growing inequality will feature prominently during the 13th World Urban Forum next year in Baku,Azerbaijan. Azerbaijan Member of Parliament and a member of the foreign and international Relations committee Parvana Valiyeva, says the meeting will explore ways to build more inclusive, resilient and sustainable cities.Participants will have an opportunity to share practical solutions, shape global policies and accelerate investment to ensure adequate housing for all at a time the world is focused on greener, safer and more inclusive cities. This comes against a backdrop of nearly 3 billion people globally living in inadequate housing conditions, 1.1 billion living in informal settlements and another 300 million experiencing homelessness.
