Isiolo leaders and livestock keepers are calling on the county security apparatus to evict herders from the neighbouring Samburu County from the Chari Ward grazing zone. The calls come after clashes that led to the death of two national police reservists and injury to a third on Sunday afternoon. Led by Governor Abdi Guyo, the leaders condemned the clashes while calling out the influx of herders from neighbouring counties without following the laid-down procedures and seeking permission from the host communities.
