Thousands of urban dwellers across Kajiado County are set to benefit from new lease titles for their plots in a new land reforms initiative aimed at curbing land fraud. The reforms target 36,800 validated plots in 36 towns, with the first phase covering Noonkopir in Kitengela, Bulbul, Namanga, Isinya, Oloitokitok and Kajiado town. Kajiado County Governor Joseph Ole Lenku says the documents will help unlock investment and allow owners to access financing from recognized lending institutions.
