5 Suspects, Teddy Otieno, George Irungu, Henry Onyango, Julius Generah and Samwel Ndegwa, were arraigned at Makadara Law Court before Chief Magistrate Beatrice Kimemia charged with Conspiracy to commit a misdemeanor.According to the prosecution, on diverse dates between the 21st November,2025 and 24th November, 2025, within Nairobi County, jointly with others, not before the court they conspired to obtain a sum of 3.2 million shillings from Rehema Chepkosgei by false pretence. They both denied the charges and were freed on a bond of 500,000 shillings or an alternative cash bail of 100,000 shillings each. The hearing date for the case has been set for 26th of June 2026.
