African Faith-based actors and health leaders are pushing for the adoption of locally-led health solutions to boost critical health sector that is struggling, following the withdrawal of donor funding. To attain the feat, the actors noted that African countries ought to invest in local pharmaceutical drug manufacturing, actively engage in technological transfers, onboarding of private sectors to inject the much-needed capital and governments to increase funds meant for the health sector.
