Residents of Kabuteti and Karangi villages in Gatundu South, Kiambu County, are up in arms over the deplorable state of a crucial access road that has become nearly impassable, disrupting transport and daily economic activities. The situation worsened after a key bridge linking the two ridges collapsed several months ago. Despite locals reporting the incident, the bridge is yet to be reconstructed, forcing the community to rely on a makeshift version fashioned from timber and scrap metal.
