By-Election Unrest | Police arrest 23 over Kasipul violence that left MP Kaluma injured

Police have arrested 23 people in connection with violence that erupted at Agoro Sare Primary School,in Kasipul constituency, Homabay County, where Homa Bay Town MP Peter Kaluma was reportedly attacked and injured. Police have also recovered a firearm that reportedly went missing during the scuffle. IEBC has in the meantime condemned the election-related violence witnessed in several polling stations across the country during the Thursday by-elections.
