Voting kicked off in Banisa constituency with some polling stations reporting technical challenges. Speaking at Diribbor primary school polling station, independent electoral boundaries commissioner Hassan Nur Hassan overseeing the by-election assured voters they will deploy the back-up manual voter register to ensure all registered voters participate in the poll.
