IEBC condemns acts of violence and hooliganism in some polling stations

The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission has warned persons not accredited to keep off polling centers during the ongoing vote counting, verification and tallying exercise. This comes as the commission strongly condemned acts of violence, hooliganism and lawlessness experienced during voting in some electoral areas. The commission's chair Erastus Edung Ethekon in a statement called on security personnel to remain on high alert and only allow accredited persons into the hall during vote counting.
