KAA Chair urges universities to introduce degree-level pilot training courses

Kenya Airports Authority Chairperson Caleb Kositany has urged universities in Kenya to introduce pilot-training courses at the bachelor’s degree level within aviation management programs to help meet the country’s growing aviation industry. Speaking during the launch of a new partnership between the Kenya School of Flying and Baraton University of East Africa at JKIA, Kositany said the country is experiencing an acute shortage of pilots and has to engage foreigners for a job that can be done by Kenyans.
