    Kenya has reaffirmed its commitment to provide quality education to its citizentry and strengthen global partnerships in higher learning, as the country hosts the first edition of Malaysia Africa Higher Education Forum. Education Cabinet Secretary Julius Ogamba said the forum offers a unique platform to reflect on how institutions of higher learning can be at the fore front of transformation by fostering academic collaborations, joint research, innovation, ecosystems, student mobility and cultural exchanges. Prime Minister of Malaysia Dato Seri Anwar Bin Ibrahim emphasized that education must be grounded on human values noting that the rapid pace of technological changes requires countries to adapt quickly and decisively. The theme of the forum is intensifying internationalization in the context if global south.
