Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Union (KMPDU), Machakos County Chapter, is threatening to mobilize members to down tools over what it terms as the county government’s continued failure to honour a Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) signed last year. Lower Eastern KMPDU Chair Charles Okumu accuses the county leadership of deliberate foot-dragging, citing unresolved concerns, including delayed staff promotions and failure to streamline medical insurance.
