Migori County is gearing up to host the 5th edition of the Piny Luo Festival, an annual celebration that showcases the culture, heritage, identity, norms, and practices of the Luo community. Migori County Secretary Oscar Olima announced that the 2025 festival will take a different approach from previous editions, with a stronger emphasis on inclusivity and celebration of theregions cultural diversity. As part of this year’s expanded programme, the county will host a Cultural Extravaganza for non-Luo communities on December 10 and 11, 2025.
