At the same time, Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru has dismissed opposition manoeuvres in Mount Kenya, cautioning residents against following leaders she says have no political future. Meanwhile, KANU county branch officials are demanding urgent accountability from party leader Gideon Moi, citing years without formal meetings and warning of legal action if their concerns are ignored.
