The Private Security Regulatory Authority has begun nationwide public participation on the draft security regulations, 2025, an exercise seeking to incorporate stakeholder opinions on regulations that will help streamline the sector. Led by the Private Security Regulatory Authority Chief Executive Officer Philip Okello, the stakeholders drawn from the Western and Nyanza regions urged for an expedited adoption of the regulations, which they noted was long overdue.
