NGO in Kwale raises alarm over increase in online extortion of women

A non-governmental organization is raising alarm over what it says is an increase in online sexual abuse targeting women in Kwale County. According to the organization dubbed National Organisation Tuwajali Wajane, many women working abroad, especially in Saudi Arabia, are falling victim to extortion by close relatives and friends. They say the extortionists are exploiting the women financially by threatening to expose their private photos.
