NTSA on the spot over road carnage

Concerns have been raised over deteriorating road safety measures following two fatal weekend accidents in Machakos and Makueni counties that claimed 10 lives. Road safety experts are blaming non-compliance by truck owners involved in collisions with public service vehicles. Road Safety Association of Kenya Chairman David Kiarie said both trucks involved in the crashes lacked speed limiters, accusing NTSA inspection centres of laxity.
