People living with HIV call for government’s support

The government has been urged to chip in and help people living with HIV, especially children following the withdrawal of donor services by the US government. The affected population says managing HIV/AIDS is slowly becoming a burden following the sudden change of affairs by foreign donors.This emerged during the 10th anniversary of Connect to Retain in Kilifi county where stakeholders also called to end cases of gender based violence. They also stressed the need for sex education at home to prevent instances of teenage pregnancies and early marriages.
