Political campaigns intensify ahead of next week's by-elections

Political actors continued to traverse the country the better part of Wednesday as campaigns for the November 27th by-elections intensified. In Mbeere North in Embu County, Deputy President Professor Kithure Kindiki, campaigned for the United Democratic Alliance candidate Leonard Wamuthende assuring residents that the government will complete all ongoing development projects. At the Coast, Mining and Blue Economy Cabinet Secretary Ali Hassan Joho led rallies in Magarini Constituency, drumming up support for ODM’s Harrison Kombe, saying the by-election will determine the region’s political direction and strengthen its bargaining power at the national level.
