President William Ruto has come out strongly to defend his track record, dismissing his critics who argue that the economy is still struggling. While delivering his third state of the nation address in parliament, President Ruto highlighted what he termed as clear gains made among them a decline of inflation from 9.6% in 2020 to 4.6% which he says has brought relief to millions of households. President Ruto also took a swipe at his critiques who questioned his Bottom up Economic Transformation Agenda, such as the Affordable housing project saying those who doubted are now silent. His presentation saw MPs chant two term in an attempt to taunt the opposition.
