Ruiru Member of Parliament Simon King’ara has dismissed claims of political discrimination in the allocation of the Uwezo Fund. Speaking in Ruiru town during the disbursement of 2.5 million shillings to more than 30 women and youth groups, King’ara said the fund is not influenced by political affiliation. The MP further encouraged young people to apply for the interest-free loans, noting that groups in the constituency have so far received a total of 26 million shillings.
