Women from Ematere Friends Church have received a major economic boost following the launch of a poultry project supported by staff from Rongo University and Tharaka Nithi University. During the handover of three-month-old chicks to the beneficiaries, Dr Anne Mugalavai said the initiative is aimed at improving the living standards of residents and reflects the university’s commitment to giving back to the community.
