The Government says Kenya’s healthcare system is making big progress, driven by innovation and policies focused on inclusion. During the State of the Nation address in Parliament on Thursday, the President said that the number of Kenyans registered under the Social Health Authority (SHA) has more than tripled compared to the defunct National Hospital Insurance Fund. He also noted that over 10,000 health facilities across the country have joined the new system, making healthcare more accessible for everyone.
