Residents of Kaksingri in Homa Bay County are recording increased incomes and reduced poverty levels, thanks to Victory Farms Homa Bay Extensive Aquaponics Program, HEAP. The community driven project is enabling smallholder farmers to earn steady monthly royalties from pond based fish egg production, a model that beneficiaries say is transforming livelihoods and easing long standing economic hardships.
