Business owners in Ahero town Kisumu county are living in fear that buildings in the town might collapse if the ongoing floods persist. Elsewhere, residents of Uthiru 87 which borders Nairobi and Kiambu counties, woke up to disbelief after a section of land was washed away by mudslides. This even as the parliamentary committee on budget okayed the use of as much funds as possible in tackling flood emergencies.
