Ministry of interior warns of even more rains this weekend

Twenty-eight children are among those who died Mai Mahiu floods tragedy last week. This is according to data from the government that out of fifty-two bodies recovered a majority were children even as the search exercise enters day five for thirty-six missing people. This comes as business operators in Machakos and Kiambu counties continue to pile pressure on the government to intervene after a bridge at Donyo Sabuk collapsed due to heavy downpours.
