AGRIBUSINESS HUBS
The IFAD-funded Joy project in nine countries aims to bridge the skills gap, empower youths in agribusiness and other sectors. In Kenya it has created 5,000 jobs, surpassing its initial target of 3,000, while across Africa 60,000. The rollout of the second, expanded phase is scheduled for 2026
as explained by Brian Chipili, Youth Technical Specialist at IFAD.
