Residents of Dhololo Village in Magarini Ward, Kilifi County, are facing a severe water shortage as drought continues to bite across the region. Locals say they are forced to wake up before dawn and trek for about twelve kilometers to fetch water from a well in the neighboring Kambicha area. The situation has also taken a toll on learners, with many attending school without water to drink or use for hygiene, exposing them to health risks.
