Residents of Rabai constituency, Kilifi County, took to the streets on Friday to protest the shortage of clean piped water for the past month.The demonstrators marched to the offices of Kilifi Mariakani Water and Sewerage Company (KIMAWASCO), accusing the company of negligence. The water authority, however, has blamed the crisis on power debts and pipeline leakages, assuring residents that the situation will soon be resolved.
