Residents of Kipkelion East and Kipkelion West in Kericho county have a reason to smile, after the government assured them of proceeding with the construction of a Referral Hospital in Londiani as agreed during a public participation exercise.
This is after a section of leaders in the region objected to the proposal, claiming that the construction ground was at the far end and should be brought to the Chelimo area on the outskirts of Kericho town. The construction had earlier been proposed by the national government, where the county government later donated 100 acres of land in Londiani for construction after an agreement was met.
