17 girls from Igembe ,Meru county sit their KEPSEA exams after delivery

17 girls in Igembe, Meru County are sitting for their KEPSEA exams at the Nyambene level 4 hospitals after giving birth. This comes concerns in the county over the influx in cases of teen pregnancy. The health facility is offering counseling sessions for the new mothers to improve their well being and parenting skills as well as ensure they are calm during the exams. The teenage girls are in the meantime being advised not to give up and have hopes for a better future as teen pregnancy isn’t the end of the world.
