KOGUTA LAND DISPUTE
The Koguta clan in Muhoroni, Kisumu County, is demanding a return of over 5,000 acres of land to the community as per the National Lands Commission ruling in 2019. The clan also wants the immediate halting of any activities on the disputed piece of land by the new owners who have leased Muhoroni Sugar Company. Achola Simon reports.
