EACC targets Nyamira Governor over alleged misuse of Sh382 million

The Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission on Wednesday raided the houses and offices of Nyamira Governor Amos Nyaribo and several top county officials over the alleged misuse of Ksh382 million meant for the construction of county government offices. Speaking to the press at the EACC regional offices in Kisii, EACC South Nyanza Regional Manager Ignatius Wekesa confirmed that the Commission had executed more than five court warrants against Governor Nyaribo and four other senior county officers.
