Residents of Kibiko, Ngong in Kajiado North have petitioned the government to halt and nullify the ongoing processing of title deeds for the disputed Keekonyokie Community Trust land, citing irregularities and unresolved ownership disputes. The locals, who claim the 2,862-acre communal land is being illegally subdivided, say the process facilitated by Ardhi House contravenes the will of legitimate landowners. They argue that the move disregards an active Court of Appeal case whose ruling is scheduled for January 30, 2026.
