- 423 viewsDuration: 4:06Doctors in Kiambu County have called off their strike following the signing of a deal between the county government ,the Kenya medical practitioners pharmacists and dentists union (KMDU) and the council of governors. Speaking in Nairobi after a consultative meeting between the three bodies KMPDU Secretary General Davji Atellah urged the doctors to resume work on Monday next week. The Kiambu doctors have been on strike for 150 days since the 26th of May this year. A return to work formula addressing the doctor’s grievances and setting clear timelines for implementation was key in resolving the strike.
