New system enhances transparency and efficiency in KDF

The Kenya Defence Forces has rolled out a new digital recruitment system in the ongoing recruitment exercise nationwide, marking a major shift from the traditional manual process. During the exercise held at Ihura Stadium in Murang’a East, Lieutenant Colonel Gabriel Kotikot said the system allows officers to capture candidates’ details electronically and detect irregularities instantly.He noted that successful recruits will now receive their calling letters via email and confirmation text messages, replacing the physical letters used in previous years. Kotikot affirmed that the process remains strictly merit-based to ensure only the most qualified candidates are selected..
