A non-governmental Organization has unveiled an agro-ecology, sustainable food and environment improvement project to uplift the lives of people through farming.The two-year project targets to support 2880 people in 480 households in Lurambi, Kakamega county, to enhance their capacity to produce food through use of organic fertilizer and latest farming technologies on a small piece of land. 13 farmers have since been trained and are expected to train the community on ways to adopt to agro-ecology and sustainable farming practices.
