Registrar says National Treasury yet to disburse funds

Political parties will have to wait longer to get their money from the Political parties fund. According to the Office of the Registrar of Political Parties, the office has only disbursed funding for the first quarter owing to delayed remittance by the National Treasury.The registrar of political parties John Cox Lorlionokou said parties must seek alternative resources to expedite their internal processes and ensure they adhere to the laid down democratic principles.
