Residents of Obama Block Y are alleging a dispossession plot by a private developer to seize their land, calling on the government to intervene. According to the residents, they have occupied the land for the past 30 years, following its allocation in 1992 by the late President Daniel Moi. Speaking at a chief’s baraza, the residents claimed unknown individuals had marked their doors during the night, threatening them with eviction.
