Education Cabinet Secretary Julius Migos Ogamba has cited academic programs such as Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Bachelor of Science in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence as vital to meeting Kenya’s healthcare and tech workforce needs. Ogamba also reaffirmed government’s support for higher education, noting over 136,000 loans had been disbursed and tuition fees reduced in public universities. He made the remarks when presiding over the groundbreaking ceremony of a new Learning Resource Centre at Tangaza University and launching of its School of Applied Sciences and Technology.
