Parliamentary budget office warns against tax hikes

The Parliamentary Budget Office is now cautioning President William Ruto's administration against pursuing new taxes and levies as they risk hurting the people further with no assurance of generating higher revenues. Instead the parliamentary organ has recommended that the government enhances current revenue raising measures and to deploy technology to seal existing loopholes.
