The Director of Public Prosecution is once again at loggerheads with the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) after DPP Renson Mulele requested to withdraw a graft case involving multiple forgeries of academic certificates by a senior government official. In an affidavit filed before the Milimani Anti-Corruption Court, EACC has vehemently opposed the move by DPP to terminate the case against Gabriel Bukachi Chapia saying already 14 out of the 15 listed witnesses have testified.
